Developing the visual appearance into a prestigious corporate architecture for Hirslanden Holding.
Planning 2001-2002 / Construction 2001-2002

Simple means and clear design principles have consolidated the outside of this office building, built in a segmented style in 1972, into one cuboid entity. A reduction in architectural elements and details has strengthened the character of the building. Developing the visual appearance into a prestigious corporate architecture for Hirslanden Holding was an integral part of the comprehensive restoration works. Zurich’s characteristic grey sandstone is a defining feature of the new façades. A portion of the building work was completed with offices remaining open, and also involved restoring the building from a technical standpoint.
