The Eichhof West site forms the northern prelude to the Lucerne South development area, which has undergone significant transformation in recent years. A residential and commercial development has now been completed next to the Eichhof brewery, based on a development plan comprising four building plots.

Building plot B is prominently located in the south of the site and characterises its appearance towards the street. The three-storey base houses commercial space and public-orientated uses. Above this, the building is divided into two parts: A longitudinal body with four residential storeys and a high-rise building with 14 residential storeys. Most of the tenants have a view of the Pilatus, the Rigi or Lake Lucerne from the more than one hundred flats. Bronze-coloured metal frames sharply trace the edges of the building and, together with the dark photovoltaic elements, form a precisely joined façade cladding.
