Office building for 800 workplaces

Planning 2014

The extension consists of three new components: two office and research buildings and an underground car park. Both new buildings – one square, one rectangular – occupy the southern corner plots, with the existing building in between them. Despite their differing shapes, they are based on the same design and structural logic. Both have a load-bearing façade and large, column-free work areas. This guarantees great flexibility in both spatial division and business organisation. Similar to the existing building, the square building has a spacious atrium at its centre that extends down into the basement in the form of a gallery.
